3rd University Research Week
The Center for Research and Instructional Materials (CRIM) held its 3rd University Research Week last March 1 to 4, 2010. Three activities were unleashed to celebrate this year’s Research Week. A Seminar-Lecture on “Highlights in Conducting A Feasibility Study with Business Plan sample which was held on March 1, 2010 at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR) with Dr. Revelino D. Garcia, Director of the Accreditation and Instruction Office, as resource speaker. The second activity was the 12th Faculty Research (FARE) Forum held on March 2, 2010 at the AVR. FARE was organized topresent and critique the research outputs done by faculty and staff members of PCU. During the said activity, eight (8) researches were presented. Fonacier); College of Education and Allied Programs University Guidance Center Services (Prof. Myrna G. Abayabay); The Impact of the Community Outreach Program of the College of Education and Allied Programs to Student Participants: An Assessment (Dr. Kathleen L. Guimbatan); PCU Faculty: Determining and Assessing Training Needs (Dr. Elena S. Fonacier); and An Assessment of Syllabus Objectives Toward an Effective Course Methodology (Dr. Violeta L. Sarmiento).
The culminating activity was another Seminar/Lecture held on March 4, 2010 at the AVR with Prof. Maria Luisa G. Valera, CRIM Director as resource speaker. Two topics were discussed: “Updates in Writing Publishable Research Paper” and “Making A Research Proposal for Possible Funding.” |
