Commencement Exercises
and Speakers

The Philippine Christian University had been privileged to have had reputable guest speakers for its Commencement Exercises for Elementary, High School, College and Graduate School both for Manila and Dasmariñas campuses.

Dr. Perdo The 66th Commencement Exercises of the undergraduate students in Manila were held last April 8, 2010 at the SMX Convention Center
at SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City and March 23, 2010 in Dasmariñas campus held at Tagaytay International Convention Center (TICC). Dr. Cecilio Kwok Pedro, recognized as one of the Top Ten Outstanding Young Men of Business Entrepreneurship in 1991, Social Entrepreneur of the year 2004 by SVG Foundation and Ernst & Young, and currently the President and CEO of Lamoiyan Corporation, was the commencement speaker for both campuses.

Atty. SalvadorHon. Pablo S. Trillana III, Asian Development Bank’s External Conciliator, formerly Assistant General Counsel of ADB and served various positions in the government, was the guest of honor and commencement speaker for the Graduate School and College of Law held last March 29, 2010 at the SMX Convention Center. On the same day, Elementary and High School Commencement Exercises were held with Atty. Tranquil S. Salvador III, formerly Dean of the Law School of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasay, reviewer and Professor of Law in Ateneo, PLM, FEU, SSC and UE;

>>>>>Mr. Ricketsand Mr. Ronnie Ricketts, Chairman of the Optical Media Board (OMB) and Board Member of the Inter-continental Broadcasting Corporation (IBC13) as guest speakers respectively.


Prof. Phyllis Rianne F. Apilado-Cañete, Assistant Professorial Lecturer of the Behavioral Sciences Department at DLSU-Dasmariñas in Cavite, was the guest speaker for the High School Commencement Exercises of Dasmariñas campus held last March 23, 2010 at the TICC. On the same day, the Elementary Commencement Exercises were also held with Dr. Greg Melchor C. de Lara, Vice President for Academic Affairs, as the guest speaker.
