The 1st Foreign Student Organization (FSO) Historic and Cultural Tour was held last 10 March 2010. The group of 12 foreign students, with the Office of Student Affairs personnel, went to visit the Nayong Filipino and the Paradise Ranch at Clark Field, Pampanga.
The Nayong Filipino sa Clark Expo features the Pre-colonial and the Colonial Philippines. The Pre-colonial Philippines is marked by the replicas of the Ifugao Rice Terraces, the Ifugao village, the Aeta Village and a Maranao Torogan House. On the other hand, the Colonial Philippines features replicas of the Barasoain Church, a plaza during Spanish time, and the houses of Dr. Jose Rizal, Emilio Aguinaldo and Apolinario Mabini.
From a Historic Trip, the group made its way to the Paradise Ranch, a newly constructed Eco-Tourism Park which features a zoo, a butterfly and bats sanctuaries and offers a great view of the nearby Clark vicinity and the Secovia river. The group left PCU going to Clark at 7 o’clock in the morning and was able to return to Manila before 6 p’clock in the evening.
